The Archdiocese of Milwaukee and St. Peter's Catholic Parish is committed to helping victims/survivors of sexual abuse and to protecting children. All efforts and programs in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee that relate to protecting God’s children and creating a safe environment come under the umbrella of Safeguarding All of God’s Family.
The Archdiocese of Milwaukee requires that anyone working or volunteering around children at the parish or school take the safeguard course. Examples:
- Parent volunteers in Catholic schools
- Volunteers for Kids’ Games at the St. James Festival or St. Peter Fall Fest
- Catechists, aides, chaperones, and hall monitors for Child and Youth Faith Formation
So if you are a parishioner, parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle who may like to volunteer at St. Peter's please begin your safeguard training today!

Two Safe Environment Education classes will be offered at St. James for those seeking Initial Safe Environment Certification in the Milwaukee Archdiocese.
- Monday, August 12, 6:30-9:30 PM, St. James Room 8
- Wednesday, September 18, 6:30-9:30 PM, St. James Room 8
